Gamefly, Y U so scared of Profit?

So, why is it? Why do you not accept prepaid debit cards? Are you that afraid that you won't get paid each month? You say you can cancel anytime, so why don't you say a missed payment is like a cancellation? From a business standpoint, you're missing out on a lot of money... Your profit metric would definitely improve...  It's a crying shame... Even if I get a regular credit card, I will not be using your service. Your customer service didn't answer my question about why you don't accept them, and it's just so wrong and upsetting... I can understand major things like Ancestry.com and lumosity that wouldn't accept prepaid debit cards, but you? No. Just no. And you don't explain it. You just say, "We're sorry, we don't accept these types of cards. We will send this to the right department for further discussion" Yet I'd never get a response from your Billing department or the like. Get your act together or you won't make more money.

Hands on with SMG2

After about 8 or so hours, I'm over halfway done collecting the stars and I'm on the final world in the main game, W6. I will be making my own walkthrough for it after I beat it, and it'll be complete with all regular stars and the green star playthrough. Keep an eye out for it on Youtube.

That is all, since I don't have much of anything else to rant or rave about atm...

Initial thoughts on SMG2

For those of you who aren't abbreviation-ally inclined, SMG2 is the new Super Mario Galaxy game. The beginning is a storybook tutorial where Master Luma snuggles in Mario's hat. After a cutscene, you launch into play on the first level.

The addition of the Star bit bank was a welcome relief as you can actually share it with other savefiles (if my memory serves)...

The Yoshi levels were of particular interest to me, as his tongue can be used to latch on to all sorts of things and enemies, making things a lot easier provided you could stay on him...

All in all, after playing through the first world, I am definitely getting the game... When I can afford it or trade in for it...

A request to all hiring companys.

Don't just ignore applicants that don't meet your criteria for jobs. The least you could do is freakin' contact them and at least let them know that they weren't right for the position. What happened with GameStop is not the first time something like this happened. When a Target opened up near my last place of work, I put in an application, and got an interview. Things were looking up, but three weeks later (after bugging them the previous two), I leave my home phone number, and get a call as soon as I get home. Guess who it is? It's the personnel manager, saying that they were unable to give me a position with them.
So in conclusion, companies need to give a reason they aren't giving a position with them, instead of bullshitting them by ignoring them, but that's just one dragon's take on things like this...

Comments? Just make sure they aren't spam or trolling/hate comments and all will be honky-dorry

Pessimism and why I hate it

"Oh, we're gonna be late..." Whines mom as we get on the interstate going to my chiropractor. About 6 minutes later, a pessimistic mom asks, "Do you think we're gonna make it?" We get there and there are two people ahead of us... So I tell mom, "I think my appointment was at 12:30, not noon."

Granted, my mom is almost 80 years old and slowly getting senile, and she has a small benign tumor in her noggin', but her pessimism about everything I say OR do is what upsets me even more!

Are you one of the many that see the glass half-empty? Or are you like me and see the good things out of every situation? If you're the former, I politely request that you change your outlook! Optimism is one of the best things you can have! The latter, I humbly thank you... So, that's it for now! Any comments, please no trolling or spam, this is just my humble opinion on the matter. I'll see you guys next time!
